Tupelo drivers: Big River Transfer is hiring CDL-A Flatbed and Reefer drivers. We sit straight up I-22 from our Memphis base, about 2 hours away, and Tupelo is right in our preferred hiring radius. Same pay, same equipment, same team, no relocation needed.
Open Positions
We are actively hiring CDL-A drivers in the Tupelo area for two divisions.
CDL-A Flatbed Driver
Haul steel, lumber, machinery, and building materials. Tarp pay on every load. Late-model Freightliner Cascadias with all flatbed gear provided.
- Pay: $0.55-$0.70 CPM plus $60 per load tarp pay (tarp and untarp)
- Type: Company Driver
- Runs: Regional and OTR, nationwide
CDL-A Reefer Driver
Temperature-sensitive freight across all 48 states through our brokerage network. Food products, produce, pharma, and more.
- Pay: $0.55-$0.70 CPM plus detention
- Type: Company Driver
- Runs: Regional and OTR, nationwide

Competitive Pay
Starting at $0.55 to $0.70 CPM with tarp pay, detention, and milestone bonuses. Top drivers earn $2,200 or more per week.
Pay and Bonuses
All positions include the same pay structure and bonus program. Tupelo or Memphis, you earn the same.
Base and Additional Pay
- All Miles Paid: Loaded and deadhead miles both paid
- Base CPM: $0.55-$0.70 per mile
- Flatbed Tarp Pay: $60 per load, tarp and untarp both paid
- Detention: $25 per hour after 3 hours
- Driver Assist: $25 per hour
- Local Work: $25 per hour (65 miles or less)
Bonus Program
- Safety Bonus: Up to $250 per quarter
- 100K Miles: $1,000 milestone bonus
- 500K Miles: $5,000 milestone bonus
- Customer Referral: $1,000
- Driver Referral: $1,000 total
Tupelo to Memphis on I-22
Tupelo is about 110 miles from our Memphis base, under 2 hours straight up I-22. You stay home-based in Tupelo while getting the full support of an established Memphis carrier. We also hire qualified CDL-A drivers nationwide.
